  • Jasper Fitness and Aquatic Centre

    The Jasper Fitness and Aquatic Centre boasts a modern, up-to-date fitness facility with plenty of windows, lots of natural light and an open concept floorplan. The facility features 5,000 square feet dedicated to fitness, a separate stretching area and extended hours of operation. Our indoor climbing wall is beginner friendly, but also offers routes and angles sure to challenge even the most experienced climbers. Our pool also offers something for everyone: a giant waterslide, diving board, suspended jungle gym, wade pool, hot tub, steam room and swimming lanes.   • Jasper Municipal Library

    Welcome to the Jasper Municipal Library located at 500 Robson Street in the Library and Cultural Centre. We are open Tuesday 10am to 5pm, Wednesday & Thursday 10am to 8pm, Friday & Saturday 10am to 5pm. Closed Sunday, Monday and statutory holidays. The library is open to the public and offers free WiFi, public computers, sunny children’s area, a local interest collection, programs and more. Printing is available for a fee.   • Jasper Raft Tours

    Join the fun and experience easy rafting / scenic float trip down the Athabasca River, a designated Canadian Heritage River.  A National Park licensed guide will provide commentary on the human and natural history of Jasper while navigating you along the same route used by the “fur traders” over 2 centuries ago.  The specially designed, 7 meter / 25 foot long, oar powered rafts, offer a safe and comfortable ride through several small, easy sets of rapids and calm stretches that any first time rafter will enjoy. Don’t worry the guides do all the rowing; you sit back and enjoy while exploring all the spectacular scenery.  There is always a chance of seeing various wildlife including elk, deer, moose, coyotes, wolves, eagles, ospreys, mountain sheep and bears. Tours will operate rain or shine, and a poncho will be provided when required. This trip is designed for the whole family, toddlers to seniors aged from 3 up to 99 years and is dog friendly!          Jasper Raft Tours is locally owned and operated.
  • Jasper SkyTram

    Get the best view of Jasper National Park from the alpine zone with a flight aboard the Jasper SkyTram, the longest and highest guided aerial tramway in Canada.  Climb the mountain in your enclosed cabin for a 7.5 minute ride to the upper station, at 2,263 metres above sea level, as you watch for wildlife below.  Take a stroll along the accessible, interpretative boardwalk at the upper station and try hiking 1.4 km to the top of Whistlers Mountain at 2,463 metres for a view of six mountain ranges.  This sky-high adventure is the perfect experience for guests of all ages.  Enjoy a light meal at the Summit Cafe before your ride down to the lower station.  The best time of day to get the perfect picture is in the morning or evening, so make sure to reserve your flight time online.  Jasper SkyTram operates from late March to the end of October each season.  The departure point is located at the end of Whistlers Road, only 7 km southwest of Jasper off the Icefields Parkway.

  • Ski Marmot Basin

    Ski Marmot Basin offers 696 hectares (1,720 acres) of diverse, skiable terrain on five mountain faces for all ability levels from mid-November to early May.  The variety of terrain with 91 named runs makes this an ideal area for all skiers who can enjoy alpine bowls, moguls, treed glades and cruising on groomed runs using one of seven modern lifts.  Nature delivers over 440 centimeters of dry, Rocky Mountain snow annually to Marmot Basin, which boasts the highest base elevation of any major ski area in Canada.  Amenities at the area include three, day chalets with restaurants, ski/snowboard rentals, Snow School lessons, the Outer Limits retail shop and Little Rascals Nursery. The ski area is located 20 km south of the town of Jasper.
